CMS Construction Management Solutions Oy is looking for an experienced Site Manager for a industrial project in the Gothenburg region, Sweden.

As Site Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing daily site activities, contractors and multidisciplinary works. The project is approaching the pre-commissioning and commissioning phase, and an important part of the role is to support a controlled transition from construction and mechanical completion towards commissioning.

Your responsibilities include

• managing and coordinating daily construction and site activities

• coordinating contractors, technical disciplines and other site stakeholders

• monitoring site progress, resources and upcoming activities

• ensuring that works are carried out according to project requirements, schedule, quality standards and safety procedures

• identifying and resolving constraints, interface issues and other matters affecting site progress

• coordinating the transition from construction and mechanical completion towards pre-commissioning and      commissioning

• supporting system handovers, inspections, testing and commissioning preparations

• monitoring safety, quality, schedule and cost performance

• reporting site progress and key issues to project management

We are looking for

• relevant technical education

• extensive experience in similar Site Manager, Construction Manager or site management roles in industrial projects

• strong understanding of construction site operations and multidisciplinary coordination

• good understanding of safety, quality and schedule requirements in industrial projects

• good IT and reporting skills

• good command of English
